For the Royal Consorts

Royal consorts are encouraged to add to the day in manners that reflect what being a Royal Lady means to you. Although the only scheduled events are the combat tourneys, you are welcome to focus on other aspects.

The day is what we make of it.

We are fortunate to have such a beautifully diverse group of Royal Ladies, let us bring all of that glorious inspiration to play.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help make the day more inspirational.

Duchess Eleanor of Bolton

Guidelines:

  1. Number of Chivalry/Royal Peers has to be equal to, or less than number of non Chivalry/Royal Peers and or fencers combined. (so in theory you could have a team of only fencers or only heavy.)
  2. Royal Consort must mark her team somehow – be it livery/tabard/ baldrics/ belt favors/etc. (Hopefully something with a bit more pizzazz than duct tape)

Royal Consorts are encouraged to add to the pageantry inspiration of the day in any manner they so chose. Just a few of the countless possible options:

  • Asking fighters to their team with style & courtly grace
  • Tokens for the fighters who inspire you that day
  • Tokens for the fighter’s significant others
  • Refreshments for the their team & others
  • Bedecking the field in banners and pennants
  • Exhibiting high quality dress, regalia, and decorum
  • Helping others in dress and decorum
  • Recognition of courtesy both on and off the field
